Leaks from groundwater or surface water are characterized by a (varying) water pressure load. As a result, leaks can occur in basements, parking garages or other structures below ground level. These leaks can only occur if there are "defects". This means that cracks, gravel nests or open dilatations are present. The wall/floor connection is also a vulnerable point. This connection often consists of different materials such as masonry and concrete. But even if this connection consists of the same materials, the risk of leaks is present.
